Sunny Days Sunshine Center

Sunny Days Sunshine Center is dedicated to children birth-18 who may be experiencing challenges with learning, speech-language, feeding, behavioral, social skills, sensory processing, and/or motor development.

We provide  individual and group therapy sessions that are Center based, Community Based, Home based & During Covid-19 Virtual Sessions. The Sunshine Center believes in a hands on approach, collaboration, family training, and most importantly generalization in multiple settings.

Services are offered 7 Days a Week. Currently there is No Waiting List

Funding
Sunny Days Sunshine Center is contracted with most major Commercial Health insurance companies, TriCare , Horizon NJ Family Plan & Private Pay is accepted. 

Our Director
Dr. Lindsay Hilsen, Ed.D, BCBA-D, brings close to 20 years of experience with early childhood intervention, school-based experience, and Autism to the position.  Previously, she worked as the Autism Clinical Educator for Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Ind. Prior to that, she was the BCBA for NewJersey Public School

Lindsay received her Doctorate in Special Education through Nova Southeastern University.  She is a Board Certified Behavior analyst at the Doctoral level (BCBA-D) who holds two masters in Special Education & Education, as well as a certified NJ special Education teacher and elementary education teacher.  She is the author of two Autism Curriculums:  A Step-By-Step Curriculum for Early Learners with Autism Spectrum  Disorder and a Step-by-Step ABA Curriculum for Young Learners (ages 3-10) with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
