The Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit is an 18-bed short-term inpatient psychiatric unit servicing children and adolescents with acute psychiatric disorders between the ages of 5 and 17 who are residents of Union and neighboring counties. 

The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Unit provides psychiatric care to children and adolscents,  ages 5-18 years old, their parents or legal guardians and families.

Tru Intentions provides therapeutic services to youth and families through the CSOC.

In-home and in-community therapy (children, adolescents, adults, families, couples), specialized evaluations (mental health diagnostic, substance abuse, juvenile firesetting, risk assessments) clinical consultation, and special education advocacy.

Gary specializes in working with the IDD population and children and families involved with CMO and/or Mobile Response. Gary is certified in art and play therapy, CBT, ABA training, domestic violence counseling, lifelong self-sufficiency and job training.

Today the focus is on mental health services, adoption, foster care, special programming for pregnant and parenting teens, and services for 175 de-institutionalized adults in a Plainfield residential healthcare facility. The agency is licensed by the NJ Department of Human Services for adoption and mental health outpatient services.

Our staff assists parents or guardians to establish control and guidance of their family, identify natural supports in their family and community and learn and practice skills needed to negotiate through the years leading to adulthood.

Wellbrook offers psychiatric services and neurocognitive assessments for issues including depression, anxiety, sleep and eating disorders, post-partum/perinatal depression, OCD, mood disorders, and trauma. All Medicaid plans are accepted including Horizon NJ Health. Appointments are available 100% via telehealth within a week.

The CSPNJ Peer Respite Program offers a clean, safe, supportive, tranquil, and non-judgmental environments in a residential community. Guests can be provided support at the house for a maximum of 10 days and offered follow up support for up to 30 days.
